  1. The data controller is Hoplo S.r.l., which may collect data and information when you browse the Internet Sites owned by Hoplo S.r.l.
    This information note is provided pursuant to art. 13 of the Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, known as the “Code regarding the protection of Personal Data” (“Code”) and art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
  2. Definitions Within this informative note, the following terms have the meaning indicated below: Websites: www.hoplo.com Visitor: anyone who visits the Internet Sites owned by Hoplo S.r.l. Personal Data: the information that identifies or allows the identification of a Customer or a Visitor (e.g. name and surname, date of birth, email address …)

How we handle personal data Hoplo S.r.l. processes personal data through the operations indicated in art. 4 Code Privacy and art. 4 no. 2) GDPR and specifically: collection, registration, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and destruction of data.     2. What are the legal references for the processing of Personal Data?”
      The legal basis that legitimizes the processing of Personal Data voluntarily provided or collected automatically during the sending of communications and emails is the execution of a contract in which the Customer is a party or the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the Customer. The legal basis for the processing of Personal Data collected automatically during the use of the Platform is the legitimate interest in improving the use and enjoyment of the Platform, conducting monitoring for research and analysis on the Platform itself, and preventing illegal or unauthorized activities.

    Regarding security measures adopted.

    Personal Data can be processed using electronic and automated tools or through manual processing in software with logic strictly related to the purposes for which the personal data was collected and, in any case, ensuring the security of the data.
    Hoplo applies procedures for pseudonymization and encryption of personal data stored and retains the data in a cloud environment, utilizing specifically appointed Data Processors.

    How long do we keep your Personal Data?

    Hoplo stores Personal Data for the time strictly necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected, in accordance with applicable regulations. Hoplo will process personal data for the time necessary to comply with the above purposes and in any case for no more than 10 years from the termination of the relationship for the Service Purposes and for no more than 5 years from the collection of data for Marketing Purposes.

    Who are the authorized subjects and the controllers who process your data

    The Personal Data of Users and Customers are processed by our employees who have been specially appointed and authorized, in their capacity as data processors and/or internal processing managers and/or system administrators, and/or external data processing managers.
    If necessary for the purposes indicated, the collected Personal Data may be shared with third parties appointed as data processors; among these we indicate:
    1. subjects (individuals or companies) that provide services related and instrumental to the execution of the specific purposes of the services provided by the Platform (by way of example: market research, management of payments by credit card, technical maintenance).
    2. subjects (individuals or companies) who provide assistance and consultancy services to our Company (by way of example: IT infrastructure managers, system administrators).
    With a specific consent, Personal Data can be transferred abroad, to companies that do and do not belong to our corporate group, even outside the European Union. In this case, the Data Controller ensures from now on that the transfer of data outside the EU will take place in accordance with the provisions of applicable law, upon stipulation of the standard contractual clauses provided by the European Commission.

    What are your rights

    Users can access their Personal Data, oppose the processing and request the cancellation, modification, or updating of all stored Personal Data, exercising the right to limit processing and the right to data portability
  6. The rights of Visitors and Customers Visitors and Customers hold the rights under art. 7 Privacy Code and art. 15 GDPR, and specifically to:
    1. obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning them, and their eventual communication in an intelligible form;
    2. obtain:
      1. updating, rectification or eventual integration of data;
      2. cancellation or transformation into anonymous form
    3. oppose, in whole or in part: a) for legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data concerning them, even if pertinent to the purpose of the collection; b) the processing of personal data for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct selling or for carrying out market research or commercial communication, by means of automated call systems without the intervention of an operator via email and/or traditional marketing methods via telephone and/or paper mail. Visitors and Customers enjoy the rights under articles. 16-21 GDPR (Right to rectification, right to be forgotten, right to limit processing, right to data portability, right to opposition), as well as the right to complain to the Guarantor Authority.
