On-premise by choice, not as a fallback
On-premise carries a reputation as a compromise: you give something up in exchange for control. We built DocZoom so that trade never has to be made. It runs inside your infrastructure and keeps the capabilities that actually matter on a document archive:
- Semantic search, which finds the relevant document even when it doesn't contain the words you searched for.
- Entity recognition, extracting counterparties, amounts, dates and clauses as structured data rather than highlighted text.
- Domain ontologies, because a "term" in a contract and a "term" in a procedural deadline are not the same thing and must not be treated as one.
- Grounded drafting, with every passage traceable back to the document it came from.
Data sovereignty is not isolation
Keeping documents inside the perimeter doesn't mean giving up current models or freezing on one version. It means updates apply to the software, not to your data: the data stays exactly where it has always been, and everything else is what moves.
Citations are not a product detail
In a law firm or a bank, an answer without a source isn't half an answer: it's unusable. Nobody signs an opinion, a due diligence or a regulatory filing on a system's word. So DocZoom always shows the document and the passage an answer came from, and prefers to abstain when the sources don't support one.
It is also the fastest way to earn trust in a sceptical department. A professional isn't convinced by being told the system is accurate: they're convinced by opening the source, confirming it says exactly that, and repeating the check until they no longer feel the need to.
